Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on July 5, 2026.

We at Blue Leaf Labs are working to make our site www.blueleaflabs.org accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

This site is built to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to test and improve the site as it grows. Measures currently in place include:

  • Semantic HTML with a clear, meaningful heading structure on every page
  • A “skip to content” link at the top of each page
  • Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus indicators on links and controls
  • Text and interface colors chosen for strong contrast against their backgrounds
  • A declared page language for assistive technologies
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
  • Minimal, non-essential motion that respects your system’s “reduce motion” setting
  • A responsive layout that adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels

Requests, issues, and suggestions
